Lately the S15 has been getting around the internet quite a bit. After going to a few car shows and doing some photoshoots, It has made it’s way from Aus, to the U.S, to N.Z and even to Singapore!
It all started when I went out to a drift day a couple months ago. I had my roof racks on for the first time with wheels on top and ever since then it’s been photographed and shared around to countless pages, slowly making it’s way around.
I’m so happy it’s getting out there and around the globe. After going to the Showcased event in June, I’ve seen a load of pictures pop up. Including this one, which has to be one of my favourites so far, even though they all look awesome!
After Showcased, I met up with a photographer from the Singaporean website, The Right Wrong. We had a night time shoot overlooking Sydney harbour bridge and also planned on doing some crazy rolling shots.
After shooting with the bridge in the background, we headed off to get some rolling shots. After seeing the pictures of the car rolling, my jaw dropped. So amazing to see it moving in pictures.
This shot got around quite a bit and is also still getting posted on various sites. It eventually made it’s way onto a huge automotive site which I’m sure quite a lot of people know. This shot, is my favourite, nothing beats it.
That site I was talking about, is 7Tune. These guys have so much good content and I’m happy my car is good enough to be part of it.
A few weeks later came July 21st and one of the biggest car shows in Australia, MotorEx 2012. I was with the All Stars guys showing off some of sydney’s street cars and again, very happy to be a part of it.
This is where things started to get pretty awesome. I got a message from a friend saying he saw my car on Speedhunters, which I was super happy with. Who doesn’t want their car on Speedhunters?
The same day, the guys from GripShiftSlide posted up their coverage of MotorEx, and in amongst the pics I found my car. Already stoked at the amount of pictures I’d seen, you can imagine how I felt when it was posted up again.
This picture has the best story behind it. A few nights back, I was eating dinner and talking to a friend on the phone. Decided I might check my facebook and another friend tagged me in a post, so thought awesome, my car got shared by another page.
I got pretty excited when I read what page that was..
So it’s been 18 months since I bought the car and from the car it used to be, I’m very proud of what it’s turned it into. Yes it’s only a street car, but this S15 means more to me than anything else in the world.
Hopefully the love keeps coming! Don’t forget to check out my Facebook page for frequent updates!
