RB26 S13 – Lights, Suspension and Rods

As I said a few weeks back, I wanted to order all my bits for the S13 and have it on the ground moving as soon as possible.

I’ve nearly got everything I want for the suspension, all but the knuckles. My LCA has been set off, extended and sent back by the C’s Garage guys, hopefully they turn up in the next couple days. I also got my Ikeya Formula tie rods in a package from Streeter a little while ago.

And had some J’s headlights come…

..along with some super rare amber corner lights. (took me ages to find these)

I’ve also had my 3rd and final set of Powered by Max coilovers arrive, ready to be thrown in.

The final piece to make it absolutely ridiculous are the wheels, which arrived last week. I think they deserve a post of their own so keep an eye out for that soon.

I must admit I haven’t done much these past few weeks. Last week I lost one of my dogs to cancer so dealing with that was hard. Pretty major thing for me, my dogs were really the only family I had so losing one is a big thing.

I figured working on the cars will take my mind off things so these next few weeks I will try and get as much work done as possible. Hopefully no downtime and no issues, I want to have everything in the car and then possibly dummy fit it all to see what life will be like when it’s in the final stage.

When I can get a chance to have some tyres fitted up to my wheels, I will finally get to see how they fit under the guards, hopefully I worked out everything so it’s just perfect.

More updates with progress over the next couple weeks and keep an eye out for a post on the S13’s wheels soon.
